Over the past six years, the commitment of The Ride to drive cancer research and treatment initiatives has grown exponentially. With nearly $2 million dollars raised, we are igniting new research discoveries across the UW Carbone Cancer Center and beyond. However — we are just beginning!

The Ride started as a simple cycling event. With tremendous growth in popularity each year, walk and run events were added. We have become a potent motivational force for cancer research and fundraising at UW—an innovative engine for discovery that positions our local, state and worldwide badger community at the foundation of finding a cure. We are poised for a name change that further illuminates and reflects our mission.

We are proud to announce The Ride has become the Badger Challenge.

Whether your challenge is to conquer a walk, run or bike milestone, to support cancer patients in their journey, or to honor your own cancer battle —you have a place at the Badger Challenge. The name may have changed, but the mission remains the same – Powering research. Curing cancer.
