Madison, Wis. – The Ride is proud to announce the ‘Wisconsin Alumni Giveaway’ contest which will feature University of Wisconsin-Madison Alumni worldwide sharing cycling images showcasing their Badger spirit for the chance to win a free jersey from The Ride and the UW Cycling Club.

The contest will be hosted by the Wisconsin Alumni Association Strava Club in conjunction with the Prague and Vietnam Alumni Chapters. The month-long contest will begin Thursday, April 1 and will select the top male and female images that best portray Badger school spirit. All alumni across the globe are encouraged to participate by capturing fun and spirited cycling images during their rides throughout the month of April.

To submit your cycling images for contest consideration, alumni must post to the Wisconsin Alumni Association Strava Club board.  Joining the Wisconsin Alumni Association Club is free and can be accomplished by visiting Strava.com/Clubs/WisconsinAlumni. Specific steps to participate in the contest are detailed below.

DETAILED STEPS FOR CONTEST PARTICIPATION:

STEP 1: SIGN UP or LOG IN TO STRAVA

Strava is a free user platform accessible at Strava.com that connects millions of runners and cyclists while providing performance metrics through optional paid features. It is also the platform in which the UW Alumni Giveaway contest takes place.

STEP 2: JOIN THE WISCONSIN ALUMNI ASSOCIATION CLUB

Strava provides its users to the ability to form clubs which bring people together as they share their cycling experiences. The UW Alumni Giveaway will take place within the UW Alumni Club at Strava.com/Clubs/WisconsinAlumni.

STEP 3: SHOW YOUR BADGER SPIRIT

Submit images of your rides throughout the month of April showcasing your best Badger spirit! Four winners will be selected and will receive free cycling jerseys!
